    Hey like I ask about using the 5100 wifi driver from intel to update the one I got because of wifi dissconecting like most of dang time Well i installed it and now I cant get wifi or a network at all I even went through a restore but no luck Is there anyway to fix this I didnt thnk that a simple drver update could brick the wifi card. Let me know If you can help.

    Well hers the issue now the wifi does work in express gate but not in windows I actually when through asus reinstall too though and it didnt fix the issue Ill try to see if i can get window to recognize it. I did roll back the driver but it didnt seem to work.

    I guess We can pretty much forget about this got it to run Had to reinstall windows but I really don't mind starting it over again downloading al of these games agains gonna be the major pain, but the wifi works I would just wish though that the wifi would have been better on here but that could just be interfrence and all I dont get It though we have a good linsys N router and all but my sister can keep connections ethier on her toshiba.

    I'm wanting to see about upgrading the wifi. I'm not sure what would go in this laptop and how to go about it. I'm sure it's not to hard, but from what I gather, the 5100 just plain sux.

    My case is probally slow dsl and interfrence with 2.4 ghz pohnes. Let me know If you can go about an upgrade.
