Since the day(s) I connected to internet through an ethernet cable in a hotel I can't connect myself through a wireless network anymore. When I try to connect, and to diagnose the problem, it says: "wireless capability on this computer is turned off". I've tried the switch that is in front of the laptop, but it only affects bluetooth.

I've tried system restore to a day before I entered the hotel, and still it is not working. How can I turn wireless capability on again?

Oh, that solved the problem, thanks! (I did try the F2 key before, but didn't know that I needed to press the Fn key)

    edit: below no longer needed.

(It could also be a WiFi driver problem.

If you have the WiFi driver installed properly, and the Wireless Console installed, the hotbutton should cycle between BT+WiFi: on/on, on/off, off/on, off/off.)
