I been looking for a good reliable laptop for awhile (Besides IBM of course) and narrow my search to Asus (My favorite) and Fujitsu.
But im worried of the screen because of many posts of sparkle and other effects that the asus screen has (also everybody comments about the fujitsu screen as the best - LG screens are also great), need opinions about the newer refresh notebooks screen, Resolution, manufacturer, and opinion from you guys, plz help

I haven't seen a Fujitsu screen, so I can't say with 100% certainty, but I compared the W3V screen to the Sony and the ASUS is *way* better. I haven't noticed any sparkle or any other problems on my W3V. I was considering a Fujitsu s6231 before I came across the ASUS, and I don't regret changing my mind and getting the W3V at all.

So far, people have only complained about the Z71v screen, really... there hasn't been any mention of "sparkle" on any other screen.
The new ColorShine ASUS screens are just as good as any Fujitsu CrystalView screen. I'm not sure about LG screens, but I'm sure they're great too.

You have nothing to worry about in terms of screen quality... especially if you buy an ensemble notebook.
