    Hi All,
I need a laptop and started shopping for it in bangkok. Saw an ASUS X 51 R with 1 GB RAM, 120 GB HDD and the rugged large design I like. 2 years warranty are a plus, too as no other manufacturer offers that.

But the price was only $ 30 less than a Lenovo Y-400 with a 1.86 Core Duo CPU. So I'm asking what you think of the X 51 R.

Uses: web browsing, word processing and some gaming. I was planning to buy new RAM as 2 x 1 GB is on sale at FRYS.com for less than $ 70.

    Thanks!
    Chris
