    Good morning all,

I just picked up this notebook on sale @ BestBuy this past Saturday. X202E-BH91T-CB

Did all the Windows 8 updates, installed a few programs (Ms Office, antivirus).

I recently discovered that while running on battery power, when I connect the AC power cable, the screen goes blank/black.
If i close the lid and open to resume again (from sleep mode I guess), the screen comes back on.

Is there a setting that is triggering the screen to go black/blank when AC power is connected?

Any help/expertise would be most appreciated!

    Thanks all!

That sounds like there is a [electrical] trip somewhere. I suggest either contacting Asus support about it, or seeing if Best Buy will offer you an even exchange. Plugging the adapter while the system is running should not cause a hitch of any sort (as far as I know).
