    Hi all,

I'm looking to buy an Asus X205, but something is confusing me.

Some online retailers here in the UK list its battery life as 8 hours, some as 12 hours. When I asked the staff at PC World they said that a new model had been released (on their website it does seem to make a distinction between the X205 and the X205TA) but I can't find any more confirmation for this. I don't want to end up buying an old version of this laptop, so my questions are:

Has there been a new version of the X205 released? If so, what are the differences and how do I look out for it?

Do all X205's have approx. 12 hour battery life, or is there a chance some might be lower?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the link, that clears things up a little. But I'm still wondering if there's more than one version of the X205?

I'm only aware of the X205TA, though there usually is some diversification in any given model denoted by the suffix in the model name (e.g. G751 JT, G751 JW, G751 JY, etc.).
