I have an X53SV-RH71. Currently I have 2 video ports on the left side one right next to each other. One is a VGA out and the other is HDMI. I was wondering if it is possible to use dual external monitors on my laptop.

You may be able to use VGA+HDMI outputs if you disable the internal LCD of the laptop itself. The GPU supports a maximum of two simultaneous outputs.

When I connect the VGA cable, it looks like there is no room to connect the HDMI cable.

People usually cut the side of the VGA cable head to fit it.

Does anyone know if it's possible to use an HDMI to dual DVI to have dual monitors. But used to extend the desktop?
