Hi I got a great deal on this laptop not even a nick on it and its about 11 months old and the battery life blew me away with almost 4.5hrs, got it for 680cdn. From what I understand it used the PM45 chipset and I see that other laptops with this chipset support the Q9000, does anyone this it would work in this laptop if so what kind battery drainage could I expect as well as heat would probably increase (tho it runs cool 40-45C load with benchmarking, Gpu load temps around 75C after a few hours of mass effect)

    17" 1440x900
    P8400 2.26
    9650M 1GB GT
    4gb DDR 2 800
    320GB windows 7

I did end up cleaning the HSF notice the fan is almost noiseless now, would re applying thermal paste void my warranty?
