Has anybody else heard about this? Apparently, the new X7800 has been put in the G2s, and OC'd to 3 GHz. Would this be possible and/or feasible? Oh well, it's a nice bit of news.

Ya I dont see why not with the proper cooling. It is meant to be a high-end extreme processor for notebooks (although I cannot really see any reason for this), and the G2s is a high-end gaming notebook (which still baffles me why you would need such a highend gaming notebook), so I guess it is absolutely feasible. Do not forget intel was able to create a 32 core processor on the 45 nm or 25 nm fabrication process and was able to clock each core at something like 2.5 Ghz. So possible yes, practical not really.
