    X83VB CPU Swap

    Ok, Im a noobie at the X83 Laptops, coming from my built asus desktop...

    Basically, I understand the CPU for these are the "PM45"

    In other words, I wanna drop in a better processor. from 667mhz -> 1066. Preferably a T9400

    NOW, Will it accept that processor? In other words, I understand the X83vm-x1 has a 2.21ghz, but will this laptop chipset gladly accept the T9400 2.53ghz?

    I am not sure about that. What do you do with the computer? For many users actually most current CPUs (except lower-end ones and of course the Atom :D) will suffice, and they will see little real-life difference from upgrading the CPU.
