Is it possible to run XP 64bit Pro on the F3Sr? I see the 32bit version is OK but would love to run the aforementioned if possible?

Many thanks for any reply ;) :)

OK... your only issue is going to be scavenging up workable 64b drivers from older F3 models if you can find them, or if others can point them out to you. There don't seem to be a lot of people running 64b XP around here, just a few in Vista.

Asus isn't going to release much in terms of XP drivers anymore for their newer models.

No issues except lack of drivers.. Still, XP x64 is a POS. Better stick to Vista, if you must use windows x64..

Thanks for the reply guys. :)

Vista isn't an option, as I absolutely abhor the thing, and resent ASUS for making me use it, as support is non-existent otherwise.

Guess I'll try hunt down some x64 XP drivers.

Hey there... just wondering how you got in with your "upgrade" to XP from vista. I've come to the same conclusion on vista and am in the process of re-building my notebook with XP x64.

All has gone well apart from the wireless network drivers. I can't seem to get anything to work. Any info would be very warmly recieved!!

    Cheers,
    R.
