I was curious about this laptop on what it can and cannot do. I would be using it for school and leisure time. I know the boost will help out some with certain programs, but will Photoshop, visual studio, and other programs work on? My major is Computer Science so this might be a little speed bump for me.

For pleasure I would just be playing light games (hopefully Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2), streaming movies, music. I just need some advice on all of this. Wonder why they didn't put the SU9400 in there well there isn't much of difference there.

Hopefully there will be some good reviews from you all when it comes to the ones that have already ordered it. :D

It has a full featured C2D, so the only limitation on what it can't do are from the CPU speed. Most productivity applications are not speed dependent so this shouldn't be an issue. Of course it will run task intensive things a bit slower than a non CULV C2D but it should be able to get the job done.

So say large video file conversions are probably something to stay away from, but other than things like this you should be fine..........

should do everything except it might not do everything fast. I think the su7300 was used for pricing reasons - the su9400 costs far more and would up the price by at least $100-200 for 0.1-0.13hgz increase in speed - defeating the affordable aspect of this for no reason.

Thank you for the speedy posts. I will have more questions when I get home and do more research. If anyone feels inclined to post up anything useful that might sway me more, please do!
