    Hello Folks!
I ve been using this laptop for the past 8 months. i had trouble using the laptop for a long time as it would become hot and the fans become loud within half hour. i tried using nhc and speedfan i was ok with that since it wud take up some memory space and do some justice

now i found something cool.. i came across the asus denmark website and ddled the new bios rom for Asus Z 70Va. its version number is 207. ppl if u have version 207 then ur good to go..i had 206G. i used winflash to flash the rom with the newer Bios....i restarted the computer...Viola....the laptop's fans are totally noiseless...wow!! i am enjoying this laptop to a great extent....i cant hear the noise of the fans at all..also i am amazed that the CPU temperature has dropped drastically by 15 C dont know how...laptop is so cooooooooollll... i dont know y Asus USA did not have that updated Bios

Nice find! I'll be trying it out once I get home. Seems Asus did some tweaking with the sensor reporting and fan settings.
