Ok, I have a bizarre issue and was wondering if anyone had any ideas here? I am making a laptop for someone the specs are as follows

    Asus Z62F
    Intel Celeron 420
    512MB Corsair DDR2 667
    60GB 5400RPM Samsung HD
    Intel 3945 wireless card
    Asus CD-RW/DVD Combo drive

Ok, when the BIOS initializes the PCI bus the system starts this bizarre ticking noise through the speakers, everything else works fine and when I got windows loaded and installed the standard Audio drivers the noise will go away when windows starts up, but when I install the HD drivers it will do the ticking noise in windows and the sound is all garbled. Other then that everything else works perfectly. Any help here would be grateful.
