    Z62J: Build quality?

    I'm in the market for a new lappy in the 13-14 inch widescreen size and would like opinions on the z62. Its almost impossible to find one to look at in person :rolleyes:

    You can say all Asus laptops have good to excellent build quality. :)

    Perhaps.
    I know the w3's are built a bit better than say the a8's. The z62's are all plastic too though it "looks" like thicker plastic. I need a road warrior more than a desktop replacement

    It's a solid machine, but as you mentioned, it'll be all plastic(albeit, pretty strong). You can't compare it to a machine like the W3, price and build difference.

    In terms of build quality.. I'd say the Z62J is right up there with HP notebooks. It's a decent machine at a real good price.
