Hi, my z70va HD died. :(

I asked for a replacementment to install myself. Basically from the looks of it appears removing the hd cover, taking the old one out, and swapping the new one in is all there is to it.

Any special caveats I should be aware of when replacing the hd? (I've replaced hd's on other laptops before so I'm not that much a hd replacer newbie.) Just wondering if there's anything special about this machine I need to know.

there is nothing special to worry about. it's just as simple as removing the cover and popping out the hd :p

When you push the hd with a cover to the slot, make sure all the pins be solid and in, and check the Bios, and make sure it can detect a new hd.
