I know that the Z70a is the sonoma refresh of the M6 with the intelGM915 graphics solution, but...
Does it has a PCIe slot so i can put a modular video card and nullified the integrated one? is that possible?
-
I don't know - but - there will be a Z70V (dedicated card) coming soon (within a couple of months, I think).
-
Actually, I had the same question as I am looking at the 70a but would like to be able to upgrade it down the road if required.
Wondering whether to wait for the 70v.
I use it only for coding and watching movies...
Any dealers know the answer to this question? -
i don't think you can upgrade a model A to a model V because the model A uses a different chipset (featuring an integrated video processor) while the model V doesn't have that but instead has a seperate GPU.
