Everything seems to be okay so far, except for sound. The device manager doesnt list anything as being abormal, but I am getting no sound when I try to play/use anything that should have sound. The little sound icon in the bottom right, however, says "no audio output device installed".

Where is a driver for this?

Try to uninstall your speakers, then reboot. It will find them when you log back in, if Vista doesn't provide a driver for them then google, or use the drivers that you had. Also check the Z70v drivers page.

I tried that and it says its successful with installing, however the icon in the systray still says that there is no audio device installed.

I am downloading the Z70A/AUDIO_XP_2K_050708.zip file from the Asus website right now, I guess we'll see if that helps anything.
