I don't see why not, since it's the same width and length, but it's almost half as thin (i.e. it's smaller, so there shouldn't be any problems).

    It'll fit.

Kingcow - Is this an updated CM9 made by Wistron or by someone else. I tried pcdglobal.com but they seem to be a distributor, not a retailer? What is the model # & maker of your miniPCI card? Thanx much!

so, if you already had a wireless card (intel), why would you want to replace it with the atheros?

I got quoted $65 for the card.
Not sure if it's worth it, with shipping ($15 to Canada) it'll be double the price of the 2915. I do plan to use my notebook on my lap so less heat would be good though.

Here's the email I got from them with info on the card:

kingcow - Do you happen to have any links where I could get the specs on this AR5006XS card? One thing I need to find is the miniPCI form factor 3A or 3B? My laptop requires 3B...

I've searched google & eBay to no avail. On ebay all I can find is a guy in Canada who sells a card that uses the AR5006X chip(which does not include super AG turbo mode). I've emailed Chris at PCDGlobal also.
