For the cheapest HD's its usually online stores like ZipZoomFly and NewEgg.

Just make sure it is a S-ATA 2.5" laptop HD and you're ready to go...

I do not see that interface on NewEgg website...am I missing something? I see the Serial ATA150, is that the S-ATA?

    TIA

Any 2.5" drive will work as long as its not sata. Doesnt matter what it says, If its not sata and its 2.5" it will work

The ATA-6 hard drive I have has more male pins than the female interface on the z70va? Is it ok just to plug it in?

    Thanks for any help.

Ok Eddie thanks. I was just scared to plug it in since it was off center and the pins did not line up. (Z70va female was centered but the HD was off centered with extra pins on one side).

The 4 pins of the side are jumper settings used for selecting slave master or cs which dont apply to your use :)
