I have not travelled with my z70va via airlines before. I maybe fly once every 5 years. Anyway will the x-rays bother the laptop or what is the best way to travell with it? Thanks.

the xrays never damaged my laptop and ive traveled with it for years
the best way to travel with it is on your person,
    baggage handlers will destroy it
they will make you take the laptop out of the bag to xray it
make sure its fully charged, sometimes they ask you to turn the laptop on
    (only happend to me once)
    thats about all i know

Thanks for all the feed back. So far as travelling with it on your person, I would have it no other way.

I personally have experience with this, since I've traveled a few times with my Z70va when I had it. Airport security will always ask you to place it in a bin to have it run through the x-ray... but as long as you have it off, then no worries. You could take out the HD prior to it, if you really want to be on the safest side.
