I just got my Z71V yesterday night, and I love it. The only problem I have is that I am getting a blue screen when I try to install the Wireless Lan Software. Any suggestions?

Are you using the CD that came with the notebook? If so, try using Windows to connect... then download the drivers off the net and try installing it that way.

    Best of luck

I have tried the drivers on the CD and drivers downloaded from the Asus web site. I have not tried any drivers directly from Intel.

It depends on if you got the pro/wireless 2200 or the 2915....... the Asus drivers disc is for the 2915...... if you got the 2200, then you should have recieved the intel drivers disc with your system.

    Thanks,

Take the wlan card out and reply with the part number. We can all get you the right driver here. Bsos should not happen eveb if you installed the wrong driver. This may be a separate issue, maybee not. I ve done it before by accident but no bsod.
