    Hey all,
I've been reading a crapload of info on the Z71V, and I have one question:

Here in canada, there are 2 places that I can readily find the Z71: One is through www.ncix.com, the other www.bcom.ab.ca, located in my town.

Here's my question: Every z71v review that I can find says it has a WSXGA screen (1680x1050). The Z71A, by contrast, offers a WXGA screen (1280x768). Now, on the notebook pages of both of the above mentioned resellers, they say that Z71V has the WXGA screen at 1280x768....is this simply a lack of attention to detail, and they assumed that the screen on the V is the same as that on the A? Or is there actually 2 models of V, one with, one without the better WSXGA screen?
my apologies if this issue has been brought up already, if not thanks in advance.

You could validate it on Asus.COM. Both of the models are now up on their website.

The Z71V is the WSXGA+ screen. Which is 1600x1050 resolution.

In regards to the NCIX site, on the Z71V product page...
    http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=14841

    ...
Near the bottom of that page in the "NCIX Forum Messages" section, the msngeeks.com guy posted about how the product description was indeed incorrect.
