    Do you know if Asus Z71V will work with the new Seagate Momentus 7200.2 160GB SATA II? Thanks

    I beleive the Z71V supports SATA and PATA, so it should work, yes.

    Yeap, the Z71v was the first ASUS notebook with SATA, and the trend didn't continue until the Core 2 Duo update when all were converted to SATA and has been since.
