I just want you guys to say if you like the look of ASUS Z71V. It's a very good notebook but I've heard it's color is kinda metalic but in the pictures it just look, hmm, gray, very, err, weird...
I know it's a retarded topic but I'm concerned about the way my new notebook will look.![]()
Ohh, good large pics would be great.
TIA

LOL... what a very subjective question.
Personally, I kind of like the look... it's not "sexy" like the V6V, but the Z71v is definitely good looking in a business sense. -
I'm actually concerned about the color, the pics I've seen look like they're from different notebooks -
it looks ok in person... very average looking
it's very nicely built- very sturdy with no flex
the screen was the turn-off for me... i returned mine within a week -
Check out Djembe and Smile_Pak's reviews of the Z71v, they have awesome pictures

It's definately on the lower end of the spectrum in looks. I think it's as ugly as the older dell models (i8600).
Though I don't like the looks, I'm still satisfied with it, because I treat it like a budget notebook. It's pretty good for what you pay for. If appearance is important to you, try the z70va. It's more expensive, but the graphics performance is better as well as the looks. Much better looks in fact.
I don't care much for wsxga+ so I think I should have gotten a MSI 1036 since it has a glossy screen and looks better. -

If you use it as a shield to dodge a bullet headed for a super model, it may just help you pick one up.

gez, well I'll probably treat it like a budget notebook after 1 or 2 years of purchase.
weel, looking better the pictures I didn't like the color and I liked the design.
ohh, and:
Z71V: ugly, or conservative? -
It's a great notebook for the price. If you want to dress it up to make it look better, you can always pay a giant premium for this. Or you can go to office depot and get yourself a few bottles of liquid paper and do it yourself.
-
Yes, treat it like a budget notebook and you'll be satisfied! I would consider it ugly. It has too much blocks of plastic (above and below the screen) with nothing on them.
-
You have to be dumb to call it ugly.
Its plain looking with no bells and whistles.
Some of us need a good laptop not a girlfriend
I have a z71v since last one year and it rocks :asus:
Z71V, do you guys think it's ugly?
