Don't know what I've done - but I've lost the ALS funtionality. Using the Fn+F3 does not work. If I hold my finger over the sensor, it does get duller (darker).

Does anyone know how to restore the functionality of the Fn+F3 keys?

    Thanks in advance,
    :asus:

Reinstall (seems like my message of the day).....

No.. really, first just restart. The OSD (on-screen display) sometimes doesn't show up, even though the button *may* work when you come out of hibernate. If that's not the problem, reinstalling the driver isn't going to hurt anything.
