    Can you please elaborate more?
    Have you used other players?
WHat exactly does it look like?
    Any other anomalies?
    How is game play?
    Is it one particlar dvd?
    Is it a burned dvd?

actually I have a similar issue. every so often when playing DVDs (any DVDs), the playback will stutter slightly. The only effect I've noticed in games is in Myst 3, I notice a stutter if I'm spinning around quickly. And I'm running Asus DVD (Cyberlink Power DVD 6 modded) on Windows XP.
