As of right now, I'm planning to get the Z70Va...but I see that the Z92ja is also a 15.4" but with a 256mb x1600 instead of a 128mb x700. Other than this (and the dual CPU), will these be pretty similar machines and designs? Is battery life expected to be worse/better/comparable?? Will it configure up for about the same price as the Z70Va currently is? Lots of questions! Sorry...but thank you!

By the way, I really can't wait much more than a month to order.

The Z92ja is based on the A6 platform.....

For the same reason a lot of people are picking up Z63a's - because of the design of the "replacement" Z62f...... a lot of people are starting to pick up the Z70va's again because we're going back to more boring, plain jane chassis'

So it might not look as nice as the Z70Va but that 256 mb x1600 is more powerful than the x700 right?

Yes, it's obviously more powerful..... but there are plenty of shots of various A6 chassis' out there....... so you can compare for yourself.... for one, it'll be at least a 1/2 pound heavier.

... it IS that..... just most likely will come in with a lighter color and obviously it'll be configurable.

    Justin,

Quick question, in the picture displayed the back of the unit has a parallel port labeled. But this looks more like a DVI port and the specs list a DVI port. Which is it?

    Not anytime soon...
Relative to the Z70Va, you either go down in esthetics [new built-on ASUS lineup], or up in esthetics [ASUS Ensemble].
