Sup just wondering if any you got this Bios running on your Z96J, I'm running 1101 on my lap right now, just curious if there's any huge performance boost
Does it actually downclock the GPU clock or add any issue, let me know your opinions. And by the way I don't like that much winphlash to flash the bios within windows  . Got handy any tips on flashing through plain dos.
Cheers ! :D . Does the Z96J have that F4 which does directly into flash utility on boot?

Probably. If not, there is an option in the BIOS somewhere (start easy flash or something similar)

The Z96J does not have the F4 feature, but Winflash is easy and has worked fine for me. I have also used a bootable flash drive and Aflash (its on the drivers CD).

    Good Luck

Your boot disk must have a config.sys file.
you can edit it and remove the EMM386.exe

Or simply delete the config.sys file.

This is just the boot CDROM, it'll boot direct to A:\ prompt:
    http://1toppc.com/Merchant2/images/Notebook/Asus/96J1201.nrg

However, it will not detect your CD drive when you type D:\ because Himem.sys and MSCDEX.EXE must be disable in Autoexec.bat and Config.sys in order to run BIOS Flash Utility.

You may still access your C: drive if it's formatted as FAT32, you will not able to access yoru C: drive if your HD is formatted as NTFS.
