Planning on buying a Sandisk 8GB SDHC card to go with my AT & T Tilt phone.

Before I make the purchase I wanted to make sure that the card reader in my Z96J could support an 8GB card. I believe I have also read that WinXP SP2 requires a hotfix to support cards over 4GB. (I believe SP3 has this hotfix included).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You will probably need an updated card reader driver in order for the SDHC to work.

If I recall correctly, this has been discussed before and it's a Ricoh driver. Try a search for the thread.

Check my Tips and Tricks. Although, just install SP3 first and try out the cardreader, maybe it'll work with just that hotfix.
