I just noticed that when doing FN + F2 it does not disable my wireless connection even though the wireless console 2 says it is disabled. I am using Windows to manage the connection.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I have the latest ATK and Wireless Console 2 from Asus.

Unfortunately you have to use the Intel ProSet software for the wireless2console to work with your wireless connection. I use the windows wireless manager and it works fine for me, you can turn it off (if you need to) by simply right clicking on the icon in the task bar and selecting disable.
    Hope this helps.

How much of the system resources does the Intel software use? Is it very little or is it a resource whore???

From what I remember, getting rid of the Intel software removed like 6 processes from my task manager list. Not sure of the overall size of the footprint, but 6 processes seems like a lot and the built-in windows functionality works fine.
