    HI

Trying to find information regarding the Z96J.

Went to the ASUS web site and do not see it as one of their products.
Is the Z96J an ASUS product?

    Thanks

It is a Built on ASUS product, meaning ASUS supplies the barebones, then resellers can customize them for end users. The warranty thus comes from the resellers who do this, instead of from ASUS directly.

    Lying?
No, you just didnt address the question.

Now I understand, the hardware is purchased through ASUS and assembled by companies like yours and sold as "ASUS" laptops.

    Thanks for the info.

You didnt ask who it was assembled by. You asked why the model is not on their website. That fact that z96j is put together by dealer has no relation to the fact that it is not on their site. Half the models that are currently on their site are assembled by dealers. Some just never make it there
