Hopefully someone here lots smarter than me can shed some light or suggestions on the subject.

My Z96Js started acting funny a couple months ago. When going to turn it on, it sounded like it was turning on (lights, fan spun up for a second), but then go black again and completely off. This would go on for a couple of attempts until I would finally click the power button a couple times then hold it - then it would turn on and boot.

Yesterday, it finally stopped turning on altogether. There is no orange light indicating the battery is being charged, there is no green light (either HDD or power LED) like there used to be. No sounds, no fan - nothing!

It won't boot with power adapter OR battery (battery has charge). I'm out of ideas. I think it may need a new motherboard.

Here's what I've tried so far:
    - Swapping RAM around / out
    - Testing power adapter w/ meter - perfect voltage
    - Attempt to power on with only power cord
    - Attempt to power on with only battery
    - Attempt to power on with both power cord and battery

Does anyone think it's NOT the motherboard?

If it is, where in the world can I find a replacement mobo? I've been searching everywhere but without much luck. I've found like 1 or 2 used ones, but they are either IDE (not SATA) or no X1600 graphics, or sold "AS IS"

I am desperate to get this thing running again!
