How does the z96j screen quality overall compare to something like the screen on the Asus G1p or the Mac Book Pro?

In my honest opinion, the G1 screen is better than the MBP and the MBP screen is much better than the z96j.

    So sorta like G1 > MBP > z96j

Okay thanks. I'm leaning more and more to the G1 because of the longer battery life and better video card (over the z96j).

If compare the whole thing together, Z96j vs G1P, if you spec the Z96J exactly like the G1P, the Z96J ends up being roughly 1600$ USD while teh G1P is 1800$ USD.

You can easily justify 200$ for the G1P, the screen is much better on the G1P, the build quality is better, more features on the G1P, FN and Ctrl key are in the correct position, so this will help users to like to use shortcuts/hotkeys and gamers.

And in peoples' opinion the G1P is the best bang for the buck 15.4" performance laptop, one thing the Z96j has is that it is customizable from a barebone stand point. Also there is ASUS Global warranty on the G1P, if you ever need to use it.

So far it is really hard to tell exactly what the battery life is on the G1P, people comment, stating it is 2.5 hours to 3.5 hours, whereas the Z96j roughly get just under 3 hours for some users, but most users get 2+ hours.

The next thing to also consider is wieght and portability, in my opinion the Z96j and G1P are roughly the same in terms of both, so no big worries there.

A bit off topic, but G1 and V1jp screens are the same or similar quality, correct?
