Hey everyone, I just bought a Z96j and it is totally awesome, except for one thing. The built-in camera doesnt seem to work, when I go to the camera option , it just shows a gray little box, instead of what the camera is seeing. is there any way to fix this?

    Have the drivers been installed?

If it has been already, try reupdating the drivers. It should work without any real problems, since its plug and play(not even rather, its just there :))

Are you sure no other program is using the camera?

nope, the camera isnt being used by any other program, since I dont have any other programs on this computer that would be using it. coriolis, I'll try the reupdating drivers, but how do you update drivers, do you mean uninstalling it and reinstalling it?

Put the driver cd in your computer. Then browse the CD and go to the camera folder. Run the batch file. Then run "videoview" to record videos, and I believe there is another one that allows you to take pictures.

Do you know what a batch file is? Uninstall anything camera related you have at the moment. Then run the batch file.** After that, run videoview or the other thing.

If you still can't find it, let me know and I will pop in the CD and look for it so I can give you detailed instructions for finding it. It will end in a .bat extension.
