Hi.
Recently purchased a Asus UX430UA royal blue.
Everything is running fine aside from the functionality for the keyboard backlight. I contacted Asus and they advised going ahead with a factory reset. Aside from this and dozens of ATK driver installations, the keyboard backlight just seems to not want to turn on.
I've done the following so far;
Does anyone with this laptop have the same issue? It is advertised as "Illuminating keyboard backlight" but there is definitely no light coming from the keys. FN + A / FN + F3/F4 do not work at all despite there being icons depicting keyboard brightness.
- Two hard factory resets of the notebook.
- Multiple installs of ASUS' ATKPackage drivers (https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/ASUS-ZenBook-UX430UA/HelpDesk_Download/)
- Full driver update for the system (All other drivers)
- Updated BIOS to latest v.304.
Should I return the notebook under warranty?
Thanks for your help if you have any solutions!

Just for clarification the illuminating keyboard function has never been functional?
