Buying a Zenbook 11" and can't decide what screen to get: 1366x768 or 1920x1080 ?

    - 1366x768 costs $500 less
    - 1920x1080 is full HD and graphics/videos look great on it, but I heard someone say that text can be hard to read with such resolution

    any thoughts?

You can use DPI scaling, it isn't perfect, but the 1080p lcd is of higher quality so it's up to dealing with the occasional quirk of the DPI scaling or a lower quality (but still good) lcd panel.

All up to your needs. You will definitely appreciate the 1080P screen if you're a gamer/media enthusiast. As for the text, you can adjust the DPI as tijo pointed out in Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display. You can also turn on ClearType text and configure that to make text more readable.
