I'm looking for the difference between these two laptops. I'm having a very hard time finding any concrete answers, and I'm hoping someone here will have one. Below is a link to both.

Also...these laptops seem to be aging? Will there be newer Zenbooks coming out soon? Or are these pretty much it for the time being?

    Thank you for any help!

one has windows 10 pro, one has 10 home

    otherwise identical hardware.

i wonder why asus is late with the kaby lake. it's not like they have to redesign the shell or motherboard.
Just like the GL502 skylake and kabylake are visually identical.

if a successor did come out, it would have a 7700hq and gtx1050 like the dell xps

Thank you for the reply. I read that there isn't a huge difference in the new Kaby Lake processors and I'd see very little performance differences, is this true?

if it were to have pascal upgrade (to 1000 series from nvidia), it would have significant improvement over graphics.

kaby lake v. skylake is pretty insignificant, but it is a bit faster cpu-wise and it is faster with 4k contents.
This asus, which has 4k screen will make good use of that 4k encoder/decoder on the kaby lake.
having cpu that is 1 generation newer also helps when you're reselling it.

kaby lake + pascal may be worth waiting for, but as kabylake+pascal ux501 is released, I think skylake+maxwell ux501 laptops will go under heavy discount as it will be discontinued. You, as a person with the $, makes the ultimate decision
