    Hi,

Anyone know anything about the Zenbook Pro line of notebooks as far as specs? they will apparently include the UX305 and the UX501 model? Apparently they will be released sometime this year and try to compete with MacBook pros? I am curious if they will be 15inch? 17 inch? one of each or smaller. I would assume they will be broadwell based have "high resolution screens" 4k.

The following link contains some info: http://techwayz.com/asus-t100-t300-chi-zenbook-pro-ux501-laptops/

    In particular:
I think the word PRO is misused here. ASUS already offers a PRO line, which is called ASUSPRO, consisting of B and P laptop series.

Thanks Picolino for the link and info,

Hopefully at least it will have a Broadwell processor. I was hoping for a 17 inch 4k, I7 Broadwell slim notebook.

The first OME that comes out with the specs below or close I will take a serious look at.

    Slim 17 inch 4K
    Broadwell or Skylake Processor
    Thunderbolt port
    USB 3.1 type C

We are close to having those specs I can almost sense it. I think probably later this year or definitely next.

CPU is described as i7-4720HQ. I believe that's a Haswell processor. It seems strange that a new model of laptop would not have a Broadwell processor these days.

UX501 seems to be a nice application! I wonder where its heat vent is.
