    Zenbook UX21E-DH71 VS UX21E-XH71

    I live in Canada and notice that Futureshop is carrying the 11" zenbook with the above DH71 "designator". I have also found other suppliers that carry that and the XH71. In terms of specs they appear identical other than the XH71 is loaded with Windows 7 Professional and DH71 is loaded with windows premium home.

    Does anyone know if the difference maybe the Elan vs the old touch pad? If the only difference is the operating system loaded the extra price of about $150 doesn't seem warranted?

    I have searched high and low and can't find anything to address the difference between the two machines, if any.

    Please advise if anyone knows what the difference is and what the source of that knowledge is.

    Yes, indeed, that is the only difference. There is no parts difference on this model.

    You really are better off going with the DH and upgrading to Pro if you want to. It would come out cheaper oddly enough.
