Hi guys,
To keep long story short, I was using my ASUS Zenbook UX305 a few days ago, surfing the net, when it just powered off for me when there's still sufficient battery. Tried restarting it but was stuck at the ASUS page and then the power auto off again. The warranty had just expired about 2 months ago and since I learnt to disassemble and assemble computer parts in school recently, I decided to open up the case to try and disconnect and reconnecting some of the parts (battery to motherboard cable and SSD) as recommended by what I had read online.
Little did I know, after reconnecting all those parts I had plugged out, it no longer shows me any screen. Although the power on light appeared and there was green flashing lights on the AC charger indicator which lasted for a few seconds before the PC auto powered off. It wasn't a screen problem since I had tested it on another monitor via the mini-hdmi port.
I read online for any similar issues and the closest I was getting was that my motherboard cables was loose. I am really unsure whose advise to go for as there were many other questions in the thread alone.
There was no beep code or any other error message during the whole situation, which gotten me even much more confused on what to research for.
I am on a budget constraint and hiring someone to get my PC fixed isn't within my budget and I seriously still think there's hope for my PC. I am sincerely looking for someone advice on how I should get my screen display to be least working. Many thanks in advance. -Gary
