Hello, all.
I'm looking to pick up a new Ultrabook for light to moderate use.
Currently, I'm looking between the Asus UX305 ($699 on Amazon), and the Asus UX303 Broadwell ($849) on Amazon. I plan to use it for coding HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript mainly, possibly with some light gaming. I have a desktop for serious gaming at home, but there are a few older games I like to play in my spare time; mainly Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2.
The big question is, will the performance boost from the Broadwell i5 be worth the extra cash and added size/weight? I'll be running an Ubuntu derivative, likely Linux Mint, on it, so it'll be a bit less resource-hungry than Windows. For my use case, which is the better fit? Hope to hear from all you owners of these nice laptops!

If you want to play games, I'd go with the UX303. The Core M and HD 5300 graphics aren't ideal for even older games.

I agree the 840m is much more up to that kind of task.

Zenbook UX305 or UX303LA (Broadwell)?
