I have installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 x64 on my new Zenbook. Everything is fabulous except I can't find the proper drivers for the touchpad. The touchpad works fine with the generic windows driver but it doesn't do any of the multi-finger gestures. The only drivers listed on the Asus download page are for the Elantech and Sentelic driver and NOT the Synaptics... what gives? I tried all of the drivers on there and sure enough they all say the touchpad does not match the driver...
The hardware ID for the touchpad is: ACPI\SYN0A18
Please help me find the proper drivers! Thanks!

I don't think there ever was a synaptics touchpad on the UX31, have you tried the sentelic or elantech?

That was my first thought and you're correct. I must have gotten confused by another forum post. My problem still persisted though and I finally got it working by editing a few things in the elantech infs. I think I may have some hardware issues so I'll be looking into it more.

You could try drivers from the Synaptics website: Drivers | Synaptics
Zenbook UX31E Synaptics Touchpad Driver??
