    Hi Guys,

I bought an ASUS Zenbook UX 32 VD. And it's awesome.

I uninstalled Windows 7 because of all that bloatware and because I kinda like Windows 8.

Almost everything worked out of the box. I managed to install the Express Cache and stuff.

But I had problems with installing some of the Asus Utilities, namely the Instant On feature and the Power4Gear.
Both install correct but then I get a message which says "Gadget could not be installed"
I guess the problem is, that Win8 in contrast to Win7 does not support Widgets for the desktop. I'm now wondering if those things do their job or not.
How can I test Instant On?

    Thanks for any help :)

Just noticed: Power4Gear works. There is just no Gadget. You can start it under: C:\Program Files\ASUS\P4G\P4GXui.exe
Also it adds some more power profiles to the windows power management.

I'm just confused with InstantOn. There is no GUI for me to see if it is enabled. Does it just speed up the normal boot of windows or is it for hibernation?!
