    HI folks,
just purchased a ux430 with the 512gb SSD. I'm liking the laptop but... the touchpad is the worst I've ever experienced.

It appears perhaps one flaw is that the surface is too smooth and makes it difficult to precisely maneuver the pointer. I'm tempted to try lightly sanding the pad with sandpaper... but this is drastic.

Do all new Asus notebooks have this issue?

    Has anyone found a solution?

    Cheers,
    G

I just bought the UX430 too, I really like expect the thing you explain above..
I still have some days left to return it, then i would go to the one with fingerprintsensor.
Just with hopes that one really works..

Did you try to sand it? and what was the result?
