    so has anyone found a way to assign different programs to the hotkey on the a8jm?

    anubissx: Nope, haven't tried it out... couldn't be bothered to mess around with it. Some ppl have tried it out on newer ASUS notebooks, I think they managed to change a few of the buttons.

    More info in the forums there I guess...

    i use that. All the Fn keys dont work but the major ones do. the Fn + F(1-12) keys work. And pwr4gear hotkey works.

    And it has no conflict with any intel drivers.

    I havent really explored changing the functionality of the keys yet though.

    I forgot which thread I read it in, but I remember someone was able to go into the registry and edit one of the keys that are link to one of the buttons and was able to allow the button to launch any appl you assign it.
