    a8jp dvd driver?

    I think I have a recordable dvd drive, but it will only record cds, I'm not sure if I have the correct driver for it. Where do I find this?

    dvd drives no not need specail drivers to burn all you need is dvd burn program such nero or whatevery one came bundle with you laptop

    Go to device manger to see the model number of your DVD drive and google it to see if it's a DVD recordable.

    That was a duh moment on my part. I was trying to use windows. It would sort of make sense...
