When I first installed vista, everything, including all the shortcut keys like wireless, bluetooth, performance settings and such worked perfectly with the fancy new 3d icons.

But recently I have been having problems. All of those shortcut buttons, as well as the FN shortcut keys have reverted back to a windows xp state. Everything looks the way it did when I had xp installed. Furthermore, the wireless button doesn't work anymore, it just pops a warning message up saying, "Unable to load the INTEL Muroc API, this function needs to install INTEL Proset utility."

Can anyone please help me with these shortcut key issues?

What does "recently" mean? If you installed a piece of software or some new/modded driver and then everything went crazy -- it's quite likely that the cuplrit is that newly installed software/driver. I would try first to search for and remove the cause before reinstalling the drivers.

If there was nothing installed that triggered this behavior, your best bet is to reinstall drivers.

You didnt instal vista "over the top" of XP did you?? thats a bad idea. If you did I recomend a fresh install of vista with a "clean install" instead.
