    hi all..
    i recently bought a8sc, and install xp on it.. but i always have bad quality for the webcam.. the display is good, but it often freeze..
    is it always like that?
    fyi. i use latest driver for the webcam..
    is there anything that i can do to improve the webcam?

    I do not own a laptop with a built in camera but from my experience with desktop web-cams the quality is not in the same realm as a real camera. I could be mistaken but most of them are not that great (jerky or choppy video). Hopefully someone with the same make and model can tell you more information.

    @travisa: thanks for ur reply.. it is understandable that built in webcam is not as good as desktop webcam. it's just that i have seen much cheaper notebook with built in cam that has better quality than mine. i just hope that there is something i can do to improve it. i dont really expect to get high quality from it, as long as it doesnt so "laggy". it's like using ur camera in night mode, but worse.. if u know what i mean.. :(

    good news.. problem solved by using windows xp standard driver instead of asus's driver =)
    stupid me for not trying that. it just that i never thought that we don't need driver that asus provided.. =p
