my disc drive still reads cd/dvd but everytime i burn a cd/dvd, the disc is empty!

is this something i can fix with a lens cleaner?

or am i going to have to replace it... where can i buy a new one?

well, you may be able to get a replacement from asus if you are still under warranty. if not, you can pick up a slim drive from newegg, though i would ask other w3 owners if they have had any issues in replacing it. quite a few w3j owners have commented on failed drives....
